Asan Future Forum

아산미래포럼

With the dual aims of raising social awareness of youth who find themselves in society’s blind spots, and of seeking a non-governmental means of promoting young people’s growth and independence, the Asan Future Forum was initiated in cooperation with the Chosun Ilbo Newspaper’s Public Interest Section: A Better Future. The forum was held to enable experts in the academic world and in the field to analyze the situations of and propose solutions to the problems faced by adolescents in out-of-home care, juvenile delinquents, teenage North Korean refugees, teenage single mothers, and adolescents with disabilities. The foundation held twenty-six symposiums and conferences over the six months from June to November 2013. Furthermore, in 2015 the foundation launched Partnership ON, an NPO accelerating program designed to support at-risk teenagers and to foster the development and independence of NPOs that can help those teenagers.
